I’ve taken the songs from the Kids Guitar Starter kit and made them available as individual lessons. The individual lessons include the song sheet, play along track, a coloring in page and activates page (crossword, word search or word scramble) and also for the individual lessons I’ve included a pdf of the song for as teaching slides for displaying to a whole class room.
The first song I teach to my new students to get them started on their guitar journey is Space Chicken, over the years of teaching I’ve watched many, many kids and parents delighted to achieve playing this song in their first lesson.
I’ve made Space Chicken available as a free download at the TPT website, no string attached, just download it and have fun! You can use it at home, in group lessons or even at school.
If you find it helpful you can cheek out the other individual guitar lessons I have at TPT. Or take a look at the Kids Guitar Starter kit, which has all the songs in one place.
