After years of teaching guitar, I saw a real need for a simpler way for young beginners to get started. Many resources are either too complicated or not engaging enough, which can make it harder for kids to stick with it.

So I created a set of original songs designed to be fun, easy to play, and rewarding right from the beginning. Some of these songs have already been released as full tracks, with support from NZ On Air and radio play.

I’ve brought everything together into a clear, step-by-step guide based on a teaching approach I’ve used successfully for years.

The kit includes:

• Short, simple video lessons

It’s designed so parents and teachers can help children learn, even without any prior musical experience.

I wrote this song after I heard someone say, “Christmas is just for kids.” But I don’t think you ever grow out of Christmas, because you don’t grow out of things like love, peace, and hope. Christmas time is for people of all ages, not just for kids.

So I wrote a Christmas song with a nostalgic feel—something that captures how special the season can be. Despite the challenges life throws at us in these modern times, you’re never too old for things like love, peace, hope, and all of that stuff.
